I've been wanting to get Emmy a new bed for ages and when I saw an Elmo bed in the spotlight Catalouge In Dec I ordered one in. Took over a month but it finally arrived the other day.

Well putting it together took a lot of patience and swearing lol. One of the poles was even missing a hole to bolt it together.

So after 3/4 day I had her room spotlessly clean a new bed put together lots of bruises lol and some actual space in her room for her toys and one very excited little girl ready to hop in her new bed.

For over a week now i have been making her go to bed at a 8.00pm in her own bed, she used to go to sleep on the lounge or in my arms when she was tired.

It hasn't been too hard to get her to do it now she has got her new ELMO bed. We have only had a couple of bad nights where it's taken an hour or two of crying and constantly coming out. But most nights it hasn't taken more than 20mins to get her to sleep she is doing so well. Now just to get her to sleep the whole night through LOL. Don't see that happening anytime soon.

Woohoo schools back today.

It's been a long 6 weeks lol. Brianna started year 3 this morning, she was up nice and early to get ready for school she was excited to go back.

We weren't sure which classroom she was going to be in or if she was going to have the same teacher this year, all depended on Numbers. But this morning we found out she has a new Teacher Miss J and a new classroom as well she loves her new teacher so was very happy. It will be a 3/4/5 composite class. Its only a very small school 75 kids this year 20 up on last year.

Can't wait to hear all about her day when she gets home.

Well i have to admit i am another obsessed Twilight Fan, My sister bought the books up with her when she came for holidays, so i borrowed the first book Twilight just for something to read little did i know i wasn't going to be barely able to put it or the other 3 books down. I absolutley LOVED it. Am i am currently reading them again I am up to eclipse. I sure i will read them many many more times It's just one of those books i can read over and over again. I ended up buying myself a copy of the all the books on Tuesday as my sister was taking hers home with her. I can't wait to see the movie I will just have to wait till it's out on DVD tho. It's times like these i wish i had a car and could drop the girls at there nanny's just drive into town and go to movies. Well hopefully by the end of the year i will have saved enough for a new car.

School holidays are almost over YAY i can't wait till they go back on Tuesday as much as i love having them both at home i hate it as well i'm sick of the bickering between them all screaming and fighting it is driving me crazy after 6 weeks of it.
Today we went up to Brianna's school and got all her school books ect. and a new school shirt and then spent the morning covering them and labeling them all. So now they all all packed in her new bag ready for school. I can't belive my baby girl is starting Grade 3 this year she is growing up way too fast.

Well i thought i'd jump on here while the Kids aren't around and it is nice and Quite my sister has taken them down to park riding there scooters so hopefully they'll all be worn out when they get back lol. So i am sitting here relaxing, typing and listening to music from the Twilight Soundtack.

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas.

We did it was such a good day. Brianna got up before the sun came up but not as early as last year, lst year she woke up at about 2am - 3am and wouldn't go back to sleep. They opened all there Santa presenta and were impressed with her haul. Then we had breakfast got dressed, then it was back to opening the rest of the presents they had a ball made a huge mess and enjoyed all there new thing they were definatley spoilt. We had a early lunch as mum had to go to work and then we spent the afternoon relaxing and the girls played with there new stuff. I also had a little nap I was exhausted lol. We got an easrly evening storm which cooled it off a bit too so that was lovely, and Brianna crashed out pretty early too WOOHOO. So a great day is was.

Well it is Christmas eve Santa is almost here and the girls are really excited especially Brianna, Emmy is more excited about opening presents not Santa. She doesn't like Santa lol.

This afternoon she said "When Santa comes he has to stay outside mummy Santa not coming in the house" ROFL I couldn't help but laugh.

We pretty much have everything ready for tommorow did a bit of last minute grocery shopping this morning , In town was just crazy. My sister and I have made the salads and stuff for Christmas lunch . Now all that is really left to do is feed the kids and try get them to go to sleep early I can't see that happening very easy lol. Then i can finish wrapping the last few presents and put them under the tree.

Well every Christmas Eve SANTA comes around the streets of our town in the fire truck spraying the kids with water and throwing out lollies for them the kids down. This year we got drenched lol Emmy hated it and held on for dear life Brianna loved it.
